Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center | 1:00 to 3:00
In October, the Sioux City Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center/Betty Strong Encounter Center donated their fabulous venue for WCD’s Harry Hopkins Dinner. On Saturday, December 13, we can show them how grateful we are for their generosity.
That day, they are hosting their family-friendly “Santa at the Center” event. Activities will include Make-and-Take Ornament Decorating and “Reindeer Games” such as Don’t Wake the Bear, Bowling for Penguins, and Snowball Bucket Toss. The staff also has arranged for magic tricks and an appearance by Santa, Mrs. Claus and some elves.
As our "service," they are asking for volunteers to supervise the kids’ activities and games. If you’d like to volunteer for this fun event, please send a text message to 712-251-0282.
The Center is at 900 Larsen Park Road in Sioux City.
