WCD Winter Social: A Great Time for a Good Cause
The Woodbury County Democratic Party’s Fundraising Committee announces a quick follow-up to the Harry Hopkins Dinner, a simple winter social at Winnie’s in downtown Sioux City. Your $35 ticket purchase will get you Winnie’s featured mocktail and holiday treats, and will support the Woodbury Democrats in their efforts to recruit, elect and support candidates who represent our principles. Students presenting a college ID at the door will gain entry for $20.
Attendees are invited to wear your favorite holiday sweater and bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation to the Siouxland Soup Kitchen’s annual holiday dinner/toy giveaway.
For a $5 donation, you can enter your Santa in the Ugly Santa contest. People’s choice will win a $50 gift card.
