November Central Committee Meeting at Alternate Location will be a Celebration!
Join the Woodbury Democrats for the November Central Committee meeting on Wednesday, November 26, (the night before Thanksgiving!) at 6 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ at 4600 Hamilton Boulevard in Sioux City.
This month, we’re changing things up with a Friendsgiving celebration where we will share a meal of tacos and accept Food Bank donations in recognition of our immigrant neighbors, the Thanksgiving holiday and those in our community who have been affected by the Trump Administration’s resistance to paying Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.
Woodbury County Democrats will provide chicken and beef taco meat and shells, plus drinks.
Here’s what we ask of attendees:
- Please bring a taco topping (grated cheese, salsa, guac, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, olives, etc. Whatever you enjoy!)
- If desired, bring cash or nonperishable food for donations to the Food Bank.
- If you’d rather donate online, we will have a QR code on site to help you send your donation directly to the Food Bank.
After the meal, this gathering will provide an opportunity to voice concerns, propose ideas, hear the latest Woodbury County Democratic news, and engage with other Democrats. By participating, you can ensure that your perspectives are represented.

Regular Central Committee meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month. You need not be a Central Committee member to attend.
