The Woodbury County Democratic Party is cohosting with Morningside Democrats and
the 4th District Iowa Democratic Party a candidate forum with all three Democrats running to fill the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Senator Joni Ernst, who has announced that she will not seek reelection.
The event will begin at noon on Saturday, November 15, in the Yockey Room of the Olsen Student Center on Morningside’s campus at 1501 Morningside Avenue in Sioux City.
Candidates participating include:
- Nathan Sage
- Josh Turek and
- Zach Wahls
It promises to be an enlightening event with three solid candidates who are eager to represent Iowa in the U.S. Senate beginning in January 2027. The race to win control of the Senate is sure to be hard-fought, as Republicans seek to retain control and Democrats run to take back the majority and begin moving the country forward again.
