WCDP’s Rural Listening and Canvassing Tour will make its presence known in Sergeant Bluff on Saturday, Sept. 26, with shifts starting at 9:00 and noon.
Woodbury Dems will set up a canvassing launch site at Historic Kate’s Cafe. We’ll provide snacks, beverages and raffle prizes for volunteers, and cover up to a $150 tab for volunteers who finish a canvassing shift to order lunch at Kate’s.
The Sergeant Bluff stop will follow candidates Ben Mulford (County Attorney), Jody House (Board of Supervisors) and Brittney Wilson (Board of Supervisors) having attended the Sergeant Bluff City Council meeting earlier that week.
The County Candidates will continue their sweep of rural town in the coming weeks with stops in Moville, Anthon and Correctionville.
We’ve discussed ad nauseam how critical canvassing is to turning out voters. Folks, the time is now! Our candidates will tackle the hard doors—selling themselves to Republicans and Independents. All we ask of you is to help make up for the fact that the candidates can’t be everywhere.
