Join us for the Sioux City premiere of Iowa's Dirty Secret: The True Cost of Burning Coal at 7:00pm on Wednesday, June 11 at Vangarde Arts. Doors open at 6:30pm and food and drink will be available. The first 30 people to arrive get a free drink of their choice! Please bring your friends and family!

Iowans have been led to believe that their energy is clean, but in reality MidAmerican Energy runs five coal plants across the state, part of the dirtiest coal fleet in the country.
Iowa's Dirty Secret: The True Cost of Burning Coal is a short film that examines the cost of coal through first-hand accounts shared by families who live near the coal plants, doctors who have seen the health impacts of coal pollution, and the advocates fighting for something better.
