Woodbury County Democrats are conducting a Rural Coffee and Canvassing Tour beginning at Bob & Ellen’s in Lawton on September 12 at 11:00. A casual, one-hour coffee and conversation session will be followed by door-knocking at houses in Lawton.
These activities follow our candidates’ participation in the Lawton City Council meeting on Sept. 9, where they will have met Lawton’s leaders and familiarized themselves with topics of interest in the community.

Woodbury Dems are publicizing these events in advance with press releases, so reporters are likely to check in and include coverage in their newspapers, broadcasts and online reporting. It would make for great publicity for our candidates’ campaigns for news reports to show enthusiastic, sizable participation. Please plan to attend, and bring along a friend or two!
Coming to the Coffee and Conversation portion of the event doesn’t obligate you to canvass, but we’d sure love it if you’d pitch in, even if you can only do so for an hour!
