# Central Committee Meeting | June 24

### 6 PM on Wednesday, June 24 | Gleeson Room, Main Library

Join the Woodbury Democrats for the June Central Committee meeting on Wednesday, June 24 at 6 PM in the Gleeson Room of the main branch of the Sioux City Public Library at [529 Pierce Street](https://maps.app.goo.gl/KxxKfJFspEsZkF9dA).

#### Special Nominating Convention

At this month’s meeting, we will incorporate a special nominating convention, which will allow us to get candidates who did not appear on the primary ballot on the ballot for November’s general election. Each candidate will be given an opportunity to speak, and then elected delegates to the County Convention will vote for the candidates of their choice. Participation is critical this month so that Woodbury Democrats can field candidates for seats in which Republicans are currently running uncontested. These gatherings provide an opportunity to voice concerns, propose ideas, and engage with other Democrats. By participating, you can ensure that your perspectives are represented.

Regular Central Committee meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month. You need not be a Central Committee member to attend.
