Help Elect LOCAL Democrats:
Contribute to the Woodbury County Democrats Today

It is easy to register to vote in Iowa. You can register when you get your driver's license, or use the mail-in form in your phone book. You can also print out the Iowa Mail-In Voter Application you get on this page!

How to register to vote in Iowa:

If you are not already registered to vote, or if you have moved
since you last voted, you need to register. CLICK HERE to
download the new Iowa Voter Registration form in Acrobat PDF
format - available in English, Spanish Vietnamese, and Laotian.
(If you need the free Acrobat reader software, go to
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
for your free software.)

After you print the form, fill it in and mail it to:

Woodbury County Auditor & Recorder
620 Douglas St, Room 103
Sioux City, IA  51101

that election even if it is received after the deadline.
  • You may register after the deadline but your
registration will not take effect until after that election.

IF YOU MOVE...

If you move within the county where you are registered to vote, you may change your address before the close of registration:

  1. By notifying the county auditor in writing. Include your full name as it appears on the voter registration records, your old and new addresses, and your signature. If more than one person is submitting a change, each person must sign the notice.
  2. By completing a postcard registration form. Only one change may be submitted on each postcard.
  3. By making the change in person at the county auditor's office or other registration sites.

You should receive a receipt of this application within (14) days of mailing it. If you do not, contact your county auditor. Be ready to tell when and where you filled out the form.
